Description
The reliable data logging and fault indication system for your S7-300/400
The Data Gateway is a data logging and fault indication system for your S7-300/400 which is connected to your S7 controller via the MPI Bus. The device can log data from the connected PLC and save them on a SD card. It can be connected to a network via the integrated Ethernet interface and thus send recorded log data by e-mail via a server in the network. The access to the device is effected via the network to the web server which is integrated in the device.
Perfect fields of application
Use as data logger: e.g. save sensor values from a data block on a SD card
Use as fault indication system: send facility faults to the service staff via e-mail
Varied ranges of application
The temperature of a cold room for example can be recorded once a minute and be saved on a SD card. When exceeding -22 °C in the cold room, every ten minutes an e-mail containing the current temperature will be sent to the works manager.
Convincing and varied
The web site on the device is freely programmable so that even minor visualisation issues can be solved with it. Of course, you can access to the recorded log data and actual values from the PLC, as well as we use the best data management system from companies like the one at https://blog.couchbase.com/couchbase-spring-cache/. The projecting software for the device has to be ordered separately.
